Once-upon-a-time BFFs Lauren Conrad and Heidi Montag, the two main stars of MTV's 'The Hills', are according to various sources still feuding.With the last season of The Hills ending when Montag moved out of the flat she shared with Conrad, and in with slimeball boyfriend Spencer Pratt, many thought the two would reconcile - or at least if they didn't, leave each other alone. Apparently not.
"Spencer has never felt so incredibly in love in all his life and Heidi feels like she is walking on clouds," says one 'insider' (probably previously brainwashed by Pratt) to In Touch Weekly. "Spencer wanted to show Heidi his commitment by taking their relationship to the next level [and get engaged]."
This relationship was the foundation of Montag and Conrad's now-bitter feud and was brought to life when Lauren confronted Heidi that they weren't having enough "best friend time" together. The rift is thought to be the reason why Heidi didn't show at The Hills' live finale after party in NYC, as Lauren didn't want Spencer invited. 
Lauren reportedly repaid Heidi's snubbing as she declined an invitation to her engagement party on May 25. "Lauren was supposed to come but didn't show up," a 'friend' told In Touch Weekly. "Lauren doesn't seem very happy for Heidi and Spencer. It's like she's jealous because she always wanted to get married young."
