Kristin Turns 21...In Vegas!

[People.com] - Kristin Cavallari won't divulge whether she will be joining MTV's The Hills, only saying that "it's a great show." But she's already partying like the cast – celebrating her 21st birthday in Las Vegas.

The former Laguna Beach star marked the rite of passage at Luxor's LAX nightclub, where she danced to Soulja Boy and hung with friends.

"My first official drink was Grey Goose and soda," she said. "It's really exciting. I can go to the clubs and not worry about anything."

She was joined by fellow Laguna Beach alum Alex Murrel, and spent the night chatting up former flame Matt Leinart, who coincidentally was seated at an adjacent table in the VIP section.

Following her dinner at Company American Bistro, Cavallari's highlight was easily the sparkling birthday cake that was brought out for her.

Saturday night capped the weekend-long celebration for the onetime Lauren Conrad rival. As soon as the clock struck midnight Saturday, the newly single Cavallari (she recently broke up with Nick Zano) headed to Pure Nightclub to take in the sights.

And what about the guys? Cavallari wouldn't reveal details on her love life, only saying that she is dating "and having fun."

Kristin Shows Off Her New Long Hair

[TMZ] - These days, you ain't nobody in Hollywood without some fake hair (and a DUI), but this weekend, wannabe It girls Kristin Cavallari and Amanda Bynes took the synthetic mane trend to new lengths! If you can't grow it - sew it!

Kristin debuted her do-it-yourself stringy polyester mermaid 'do at her birthday party in Vegas, while Amanda kept it fishy with her octopussy tentacle extensions at the Palm Springs Film Festival. Nothing like eight yards of Dynel to make a girl feel pretty!Kris and Mandy are proof that anyone can be a star - if you beweave in yourself!

(Hollie's edit: although if you're a die-hard Laguna fan, you'll remember that Kristin and then-BFF Alex Hooser both got long extensions for Winter Formal...so Kristin's not as new to the whole long hair trend as you might think!)

Lauren Moving Out of The Hills!

The Hills starlet Lauren Conrad has reportedly purchased a $2 million four-bedroom four-bathroom mini-mansion on the Hollywood flats, just off Sunset Boulevard, and is set to move out of her current Hills home. The 21-year-old has been house-hunting for almost a year and has finally found her dream home - a Spanish style vila just minutes from LA nightclub Hyde. A reality realtor told PageSix.com, "The house is beautiful inside and out, Lauren has found herself a gem. This area is so happening right now."

According to sources, Lauren 'fell in love' with the house the moment she stepped through the door and said, "I want it!"

Conrad is set to move into the luxury home in about six weeks and is rumoured to be hosting a huge housewarming party (all captured on camera for the next season of The Hills).

Audrina's Got a New Man!

[Celebrity-Gossip.net] - With her Hills co-stars Heidi Montag and Lauren Conrad both hooking up with their own boys, Audrina Partridge appears to have found a new hottie to keep her company.

The brunette babe was spotted yesterday with her new guy, Bernard, at Caffe Primo. And according to an eyewitness, they were plenty playful, not able to keep their hands off of each other as they waited for an elevator.

The previous night, Audrina was partying at posh hotspot Hyde Lounge as part of the after-party festivities for the Critics' Choice Awards. And she brought her fashion A-game in a sexy baby doll dress.

With this new guy in the picture, are Audrina and LC going to be able to maintain their friendship, or will they end up in Montag land?

Heidi Never Liked Her Engagement Ring

Whilst she may have never resolved her long-running feud with ex-BFF Lauren Conrad, there is one person who Heidi Montag seems to have taken back - Hills co-star, boyfriend and now ex-fiancé Spencer Pratt. During the Season Finalé recently, we saw the couple have a huge argument - and Heidi was spotted numerous times afterwards not wearing her engagement ring.

But - it looks like they're back on. Heidi, 21, told Us Weekly, "We're just going back to being boyfriend and girlfriend." And Pratt seems happy about this set-up, too, even though Heidi's called off the engagement. "I need to accept that Heidi wants her princess wedding and that she is the boss," and he added that going back to dating was fine because that was the time that "our relationship was flawless."

Fans thought it was all over for 'Speidi' when Heidi moved out of the apartment she shared with Pratt and headed to Colorado to spend some time with her family. At the live after-party, Montag arrived solo and wasn't wearing the engagement ring she was given by Spencer. Instead, she said, "It wasn't my dream ring. I don't like what it represents. I might sell it."

Kristin Talks Prom Dresses

[People.com] - Though it's the dead of winter, beach babe Kristin Cavallari is helping the next generation of Prom Queens get ready for their big Spring flings.

In a six-page spread for Teen's prom issue, the former Laguna Beach star models potential prom night styles while waxing nostalgic about her past five once-in-a-lifetime events. (Yes, she attended five different proms!)

Of course, as the star of one of MTV's hottest reality shows ever, Cavallari has the supreme keepsake to remember the special event. "It's really cool to have my prom on tape, especially edited by MTV in such a cool way with the best music. That's priceless," she tells the magazine.

Not that she hasn't been savoring the rest of her life, but she was especially fond of her prom experiences: "Prom was the one night where I didn't feel like I had to act a certain way. I thought, 'This is my prom. I don't want to hold back.' I just wanted to enjoy it and have fun."

And who was her best prom date ever? She names her former costar Stephen Colletti as her fave.

As for advice for girls still looking forward to their big night, she advises them to think about doing their own styling. "I used to get it done at a salon and they just piled so much on. I got to a point where I just did my hair and makeup myself and I liked it so much better," she says.

Lauren's New Year Kiss

Lauren Conrad and Audrina Partridge, starlets of MTV's The Hills, helped ring in the New Year at a San Diego party on Tuesday night. They reportedly were paid around $20,000 each to host the huge party held at the McClellan-Palomar Airport, where they also partied with good friend Lauren 'Lo' Bosworth.

Just two days after Lauren was spotted making out with her ex, Laguna Beach-er Stephen Colletti, she was caught kissing a mystery male as the duo left the party. She also looked to be in tears as she walked out. Meanwhile, Audrina left the party with some extra baggage - an older man hanging off her arm!

Heidi Sucks Up to Lauren and Gets a New Year's Resolution

Heidi Montag seems to be busying herself recently, noticeably without boyfriend Spencer Pratt. She showed off her new plumped lips - see image - and has reached out to ex-BFF turned enemy Lauren Conrad via her MySpace page. It appears she's ready to brush things under the carpet and move on.

"I just hope everyone is starting 2008 with a fresh clean slate," she writes, "like I am...the past is the past...and it is time for people to move on from negative influences in their lives and be more positive! I know at least I am going to try as hard as possible even when people don't deserve kindness...I am still going to give them kindness! Also people should try not to judge other people in 2008!"

Oh, Heidi. How sweet of you. Really. She also promised she'd "stay way more in-touch with [her] MySpace friends that are so loving and supportive. I will be trying to answer all my messages this year and respond to all questions!"

Montag failed to mention Pratt, with whom she recently called off her engagement. Finally, Heidi wished all her friends (virtual and hopefully non-virtual) "a healthy, safe, loving, amazing, blessed New Year!"

Lauren Makes Out With Stephen!

When we last saw Lauren Conrad kiss a guy, it was during an awkward goodbye with on-off-will they-won't they "good friend" Brody Jenner in the season finalé of The Hills. And since then, they've both confirmed they're not together. So it's no surprise she's getting a little cosy with other guys, namely former flame and fellow Laguna Beach alum Stephen Colletti (who's recently split with Heroes hottie Hayden Panettiere). According to Us Weekly, Colletti, who VJs on MTV, arrived at LA club Central on Saturday with Conrad and the twosome were 'immediately' appearing intimate.

After talking and flirting on the dancefloor, Stephen carried Lauren to the bar and they made out. It follows stories that Kristin Cavallari, another Laguna breakout lady and Colletti's ex long-term girlfriend, would feature on the next season of The Hills. If Stephen's back in Lauren's life, then that can only mean one thing - drama!
