LB's Jessica Disses Lindsay

In an exclusive interview with 24sizzler.com, convicted-of-DUI Laguna Beach alum Jessica Smith has revealed that she thinks Lindsay Lohan needs "real help". That's right - Jessica, 19, who pled guilty on misdemeanor DUI charges in July, thinks that "she needs to go to a real place to address her problem. The bottom line is she needs help. She keeps messing up."

Ironic, Jessica. Smith, who appeared as the BFF to Kristin Cavallari and Alex Hooser on Laguna (although the trio's friendship is somewhat less now than it was then) also professes that Lohan shouldn't get an easy ride just because she's famous. "I think she deserves whatever she gets," Jessica said. "If she gets off just because she's Lindsay Lohan, that's ridiculous. If someone slaps her on the wrist, and is like, 'oh, you bad girl,' she'll never learn." Unlike you, I'm hoping, Jessica - and rest assured, your application to be a saint is soon to be processed?

Jessica was charged in March after the car she was driving slammed into another, apparently causing 'great bodily injury' to both passengers and drivers of the two cars. She was subsequently sentenced to three years probation and 80 hours of community service, which she maintains she is fine with. "I drank and drove," she admits, "there's no excuse for that. I think anything that I got, and had I said it was unfair, it would be ridiculous, because I did something wrong."

Smith maintains, however, that she's definitely no Lindsay. "My situation is different [from Lindsay's], because it's not like it was my third time. She's just out of rehab and she has an ankle bracelet. I think that's odd. I got 80 hours of community service and I didn't have anything on my record."

And should Lindsay deserve to go to jail, Jess? "I would say sure, but jail is scary. Some people just don't belong in jail. You go crazy in jail. I thought it was unfair that Paris Hilton went to jail." That's odd, because I think I can agree with most of the population who think it was totally fair.

Whilst condemning Lindsay's drink-driving, Smith does, seemingly, feel an ounce of sympathy for Lohan. "I can't imagine what she's going through," she says, "It was embarrassing for me [and] it must have been like 150 times worse for her...she should just ignore what people say."

Jessica also claims she's changed because of her DUI incident, saying, "I barely drink anymore, because if anything was to happen when I was drunk, I would go to jail for 90 days...I learned my lesson...one way to show I've learned my lesson, is to show I've changed."

Lauren Hangs Out With Brody

[Hollyscoop.com] Brody Jenner took some time away from his new bff's Hilary and Haylie Duff to go to Sin City and hang with his ex-girlfriend Lauren Conrad. Brody and LC were spotted together partying on the VIP area at PURE nightclub. Needless to say, they hardly attracted any attention because they were sharing the VIP area with Lindsay Lohan, who was fresh out of rehab. Talk about a packed house! Brody Jenner is that one guy in Hollywood that has basically dated almost every starlet. He's becoming a professional serial dater.

Kristin Moves In With Nick Zano

Kristin Cavallari has recently moved in with her boyfriend of almost a year, Nick Zano. Nick, 28, who counts Amanda Bynes as one of his previous girlfriends, and Kristin, 20, have coinhabited in Nick's LA home.

Kristin is reported to have moved her belongings into Nick's home shortly after the filming of Spring Breakdown, in which she co-stars with Amy Poehler, wrapped. A friend said of Cavallari, "she's happy". We should think so - young, beautiful and dating one of the hottest guys I've seen in a long while - I'd assume 'happy' was a minor understatement. And we're guessing it's pretty serious already - the duo have each other's initials tattooed on their wrists. Not that, in Hollywood, that ever really means anything at all.

Well, who'd have thought: Kristin Cavallari happy and settled before Lauren Conrad. I think I may have made some kind of 'I'll eat my shorts' promise. Oops.

The Hills Season 3 Returning: 13 August

All you Hills fans - myself included - out there will be happy to learn that MTV have set a definite date for the return of The Hills - a run which will be its third season. It will premiere on MTV on Monday, August 13 at 10:00 PM ET/PT. All four girls - Lauren Conrad, Audrina Partridge, Whitney Port and Heidi Montag will return.

MTV has put up some gorgeous promo shots, taken by Jeff Lipsky, for the season - and unsurprisingly, Heidi isn't featured in any of the group shots following a row with Conrad throughout the second season.

Although the upcoming season will run for much longer than the last two, there are still plenty of unanswered questions surrounding it. Will Lauren and Heidi ever be true BFFs again? Will Spencer continue to brainwash Heidi as she pursues a music career? Will Whitney finally land the job she wants, and not carry on as "just someone's intern"? And what's all this about Lauren being spotted with Jason recently...?

MTV's Announcement: New Seasons of The Hills and Laguna Beach!

MTV has had a complete network overhaul under the control of new programming topper Tony DiSanto (responsible for producing both Laguna Beach and The Hills). Within his new rulings, DiSanto will commission longer series of some programmes, and shorter ones of others.

Within his new plans, DiSanto has virtually doubled the run for 'The Hills', commissioning an 18-episode series. MTV has also ordered a fourth season of hit show 'Laguna Beach' which it had previously considered cutting. The show will feature an all-new cast, and will "be very much in vein of the show's first season - following a group of classmates in their final year of high school". It won't be shot at Laguna Beach High School, where all three previous seasons have been set, but instead at a currently unnamed Orange County high school - most probably in Newport Beach - and could be set to air later on this year. Execs have yet to decide whether to retain the 'Laguna Beach' title or change it to reflect its new area.

J-Wahl Repentant and out of Rehab

Two months in rehab has apparently changed Jason Wahler for the better. Or so he'd like you to think, I'm sure. Jason was ordered to serve his sentence in a rehabilitation center rather than a jail - jealous, Paris Hilton?

And speaking of the socialites, Wahler was quick to defend fellow law abuser Lindsay Lohan whilst speaking to People: "I relate to Lindsay. [She's] the same age as I am. I'm only 20. And to say that I can't ever drink again, even on my 21st birthday, is hard. But I don't care, as long as I'm healthy and happy." Suuure, Jason. We bet you won't ever touch another drop of alcohol. Ever.

He went on to seemingly justify his past misdemeanours, saying, "Anyone who's big in Hollywood, who's underage, gets in [to clubs]." Wahler brandished a fake ID when rarely asked for proof, and seemed to turn from a light social drinker to someone who partied too much and too often upon his arrival in LA in 2006. He apparently considered this 'normal'. That might have something to do with his nasty breakup with fellow Laguna Beach alum Lauren Conrad, then. Jason explains that he continued this party lifestyle "until [he] started becoming someone [he was] truly not", and explains it was a factor in the couple's bitter split. "I did try drugs, but it was never my thing. It was alcohol, for sure. It would take me about 10 drinks before that other side came out."

In the September of 2006, Wahler and then-girlfriend Kristin DeLuca got into a brawl with a tow-truck driver and this led to a conviction on a misdemeanor battery charge. Then on April 8th this year, Jason was charged with criminal trespassing and assault after passing out in a hotel lobby and then punching the security guard in Seattle. Jason says he is "embarrassed as hell", but "really [does] not remember [his] arrests. They're blackouts. And that's scary." You bet.

On April 12th, Wahler submitted himself to Chapman House, an inpatient facility near to his home in Orange County, CA. He told People that ex-girlfriend Lauren Conrad has been to visit. He is now dating tennis player Katja Decker-Sadowski (pictured right with Wahler) who studies at USC.

He says about his strict time at Chapman House, "It's exhausting, but after I started getting back to my senses, it was cool to get up in the morning and not be all hurting."

Well, we'll take your word for it Jason - but we're expecting no miracles.

Heidi and Lauren: the Feud Goes On

Once-upon-a-time BFFs Lauren Conrad and Heidi Montag, the two main stars of MTV's 'The Hills', are according to various sources still feuding.

With the last season of The Hills ending when Montag moved out of the flat she shared with Conrad, and in with slimeball boyfriend Spencer Pratt, many thought the two would reconcile - or at least if they didn't, leave each other alone. Apparently not.

"Spencer has never felt so incredibly in love in all his life and Heidi feels like she is walking on clouds," says one 'insider' (probably previously brainwashed by Pratt) to In Touch Weekly. "Spencer wanted to show Heidi his commitment by taking their relationship to the next level [and get engaged]."

This relationship was the foundation of Montag and Conrad's now-bitter feud and was brought to life when Lauren confronted Heidi that they weren't having enough "best friend time" together. The rift is thought to be the reason why Heidi didn't show at The Hills' live finale after party in NYC, as Lauren didn't want Spencer invited.

Lauren reportedly repaid Heidi's snubbing as she declined an invitation to her engagement party on May 25. "Lauren was supposed to come but didn't show up," a 'friend' told In Touch Weekly. "Lauren doesn't seem very happy for Heidi and Spencer. It's like she's jealous because she always wanted to get married young."

Lauren, Audrina & Whitney Look Gorgeous at the MTV Movie Awards

Whitney Port should really be a model. I know she's done modelling jobs, I know she slipped up - but that girl is so pretty and has some gorgeous legs. Agreed? Good!

Audrina looked sweet in a floaty camisole teamed with black trousers and a clutch bag - mind you, Audrina always looks cute.

Lauren made her appearance in a virginal floaty gown chosen out of 3 by her fans in an online poll.

E! Online's Hollywood Party Girl Sydne Summer said this in her Live Blog feature on the night: "Lauren Conrad just came by with a couple of Hills friends. She doesn't seem too happy. Maybe she's just hot—the sun is beating right down on this fuchsia carpet. (Oops, I forgot to bring sunscreen!)
Or maybe she's not thrilled to be wearing a gown—an evening gown! The dress was picked by her fans through an Internet poll. It may be a bit too formal for these awards, but Conrad insists to me that it was her top choice, too."

Agreed - that dress is way too formal, but she still looks cute. Is it just me or was Lauren's hair far blonder during her Laguna days? Just a thought!

Kristin Cavallari's Mom is Really Hot

Kristin Cavallari's mom features in the latest two episodes of her RealityLASIK™ online show - and boys, she's a hottie.

Kristin's mom, who lives in Denver, Colorado, came to visit Kristin just weeks before she underwent the life-changing eye surgery. The latest two episodes show Kristin taking her mom out for a Mother's Day dinner in Malibu, and Kristin's mom even talks to the camera about Kristin's Yorkshire Terrier, Rocco. Now that's a mom for you.

If any of you ever saw Laguna, you'll know Kristin looks a lot like her dad, Dennis (not as much as Mike - Kristin's older brother - though), but the resemblance is pretty striking here too. They both have really cute noses for one!
